Information on selection

G4 (Coarse 75%) class filter captures medium-large sized particles and cleans supplied air from fluffs, some of the pollen, and large dust particles. Much lower pressure drops than of the F7 filter lead the fan of the ventilation unit to use less energy to achieve the same airflow. The filter gets contaminated slower and is used for a longer period. The economy set is recommended for all the regions with the exception of contaminated with PM2.5 particles territories and in case of seasonal allergies to residents.

F7 (ePM1 70%) filters captures:

• PM1 (0.3-1 microns) particles by 70% efficiency,


• 5 (0.3-2.5 microns) particles 80% efficiency,


• PM10 (0.3-10 microns) particles 93% efficiency.

F7 filters clean the supplied air from most of the particles arising from transport, industry, heating, and similar activities. The most polluted areas are near the main roads, industry regions, city centers, etc. Please refer to https://airindex.eea.europa.eu/ for air quality at your location.  Also, such air contamination occurs during the heating season in residential areas where solid fuel, e.g. coal is used for heating. These particles can lead to the formation of smog. Eurovent organization also recommends using F7 filters in case of respiratory deceases such as asthma, seasonal allergies and etc.

Advantages: To most other analog filters:

• Thin synthetic frame. Totally resistant to humidity. Suitable for humid European climate.


• Much wider filtering area. The thin frame does not cover the filtering surface. The standard frame covers from 0.5 to 1 cm perimeter of the filter. A wider filtering area leads to lower pressure drops and lowers energy consumption.


• Resistant to deformations. The synthetic frame is more flexible and therefore doesn’t crack or deform during transportation and accident drops.


• Antimicrob. Synthetic media do not provide conditions for the growth of microorganisms.


• Firmly glued throughout all frame areas. Filter construction is airtight and there are no leakages of dust and other particles through connections.


• Tested according to the new EN ISO 16890 standard. 


• Filters are manufactured from high-quality synthetic filtering media. Such filtering material is much stronger and damage resistant. The holes will not appear on the filter, which may let through the dust and other dangerous particles.


• High filtering efficiency: ePM1 70% (F7) class filter. Efficient protection from smog particles and pollen.

Replacement period: replacement period of the air filters depends on ambient air contamination. Usually, filters serve for 4-6 months.

Packing: filters are packed in a cardboard box for long-term storage in a dry environment.
